Its time for all Bahia's scribes to dust off their writing skills and submit articles for the September Caravan.
I need all the articles and photos to be submitted by August 7th so we can have the Caravan in the mail to reach everyone before the 1st of September.
I am looking for pictures from the Potentate's Trip to Ireland and any of your Club/Unit/BSC activities from June and July. Captions that identify the pictures and who is in them would be greatly appreciated.

Auction September 5th supporting the 2017 Imperial Session On September 5th in the dinning room at Bahia Shrine the first event in support of the 2017 Imperial Session will kick off. This will prove to be a fun night as we gather together for an evening of auction fun. There will be a live auction, a silent auction, fun games and drawings. Tickets are now on sale for two Schwinn Scooters. (A pink one for her and a blue one for him, they do not require a special license to drive.) These two great items and will go to one lucky winner. They could be for you, your kids, or your grandchildren. Get your tickets now. You might ask the following questions... We are asking for donations from Bahia Clubs, Units, and BSC's. We are also soliciting donations from local business's and individuals. Know someone who can help? Please let us know. Our goal is to collect about 100 fine items. Who should be contacted to receive donations for the auction? Please contact Gary Bergenske (407-875-0000) or the Bahia Shrine office (407) 660-8811 to make arrangements to bring in your donations. Several items have already been donated. Donations are not tax deductible as a charitable donation. Proceeds benefit Gary Bergenske Imperial Session fund.

***** Bahia Concert Band
The Bahia Concert Band is looking for more musicians to play in the band. We need members in every section, brass, woodwind, percussion and even string players. That includes, piano players, guitar players and violins!
Several of us have talked about forming several smaller ensembles including a guitar ensemble, brass quintet and a woodwind quintet that could perform at various functions.
We will select music based on our instrumentation available, but would like to be able to be able to play a variety of music.
It doesn't matter if you haven't had your instrument out of the closet in years. Just come on out and play with us. A few weeks of practice and you will be playing as if you never stopped.
